IceTV Interactive version 3.0.0.16 released

IceTV Interactive version 3.0.0.16 has been released for Windows 7.

The change list includes:

• No matching shows, results of poison/stale guide data
• Fixed bug where two tasks can be created for one show
• Installer sometimes reported that IceTV Interactive was running when it was not
• Increase HTTP timeout to 3 minutes
• Miscellaneous bug fixes

The next time IceTV Interactive is restarted it will prompt you to update.

I have tried several times to upgrade to version 3.0.0.16 just to get rid of the update nag but same result every time.
This version just doesn't open at all on Windows 7 on my rig.
Each time I revert to version 3.0.0.10 and that works so will leave it be until maybe a future update might work. There must be a bug in version 3.0.0.16 if this is the case.

This annoyance has gone on for ages and I finally stumbled on the solution.

The files in C:\ProgramData\IceTV\Interactive\3.0 folder have to be manually deleted before the new version will run.

Problem has been reported to IceTV help as a bug in the install.

Strange that no other Windows 7 users had this problem.

Update worked fine for me. I didn't have to manually delete anything. I'm running Win 7 32-bit. If you're doing the same, then perhaps it points to a problem specific to your system.
