Error when loading

I am running build 7000 and am in Perth, WA. Fresh install of Windows 7.
When I run the batch file I get the following output:

Sorry, I wish I knew what that error message meant, but it's coming from Windows 7, not us.

The first thing I'd suggest though, is to just try it again (which you probably already have by now).  I've occasionally seen error messages while loading the guide into Win7, and then it worked fine when I tried it a second time.  If that doesn't help, you could always try the standard "reboot" option.  I suppose if you get desperate, you could try resetting the channels back to defaults to see it would help -- but that's just a guess.  You might have more luck checking around on forums dedicated to Win7.  Let us know if you figure it out.

Had no luck with it so went back to Vista. I'll just want until it comes out officially :)

I got the same issue.

What ever that means.

I installed win7 from scratch, worked like a dream, including the epg. However I had to do an re-install because the partition was to small. Formatted the lot, increased partition size and done exactly the same as the first install.

The second time install gives me the error above. Bugger.

Additional info:
- No virus scanner
- 3 tuners, all recognized by windows.
- Clean install

Now I get loading 100% and it boms out, guess I get closer :-).

Got this working now.

Should have known better.

Following steps worked for me:
1. install Win7
2. do media centre setup, scan for channels etc
3. then run batch

If you run the ICETV batch before mediacentre setup it will not work, during the setup something called play??? (forgot the full name) is downloaded. I expect this causes the issue. No issues arrise when you follow the steps above.

It's not PlayReady - that's just a DRM wrapper for US recorded content.

What the original TV setup does is create the database and hooks needed for the data to be added. Until you add tuners and run the setup this stuff doesn't exist.
