Programs not scheduling
« on: December 03, 2005, 04:40:07 PM »
Downloaded the latest IceTV widget for Dashboard and I've got a current subscription.  When I click on a program and then click "Add to EyeTV" it says "Error adding program" and just doesn't work.

Help!  :'(

PS. Using EyeTV 1.8.4

Please note that the version on the downloads page is no longer a beta! 1.02 for Dashboard and Konfabulator is available now. This should address all known bugs.

Please let us know if you're still having issues after grabbing the new version!

Hi,

I am running version 1.02 and found that a few programs will not schedule (most will).  The most recent was on Channel 7.  I don't however receive an error, I click on the add to eye tv button and the dialog box dissapears and thats it ???

Lee.

Hi Lee,

That's a known issue with ' characters and adding to EyeTV. The good news is that it's been fixed and will appear in the 1.1 update due in a couple of days. The update will appear automatically in the widget when it's available. Please let us know if you have any more problems after that!

Cheers.

Any news on the update. Has it been released?

Currently using 1.02
I get prompted for an update from dashboard widget under OSX, and then when download it tells me that it is older than my current widget.
If I insist with update I still have the same version.

Hi Matt, sorry, but we're still a little while off on the update as we've decided to include a few more features/fixes.

Please send me an email and I'll see if I can get you a copy of the 1.1 beta.

Ah!  This looks like the very issue that brought me looking for answers!

Trying to schedule "the Chaser" last night using IceTv proved impossible. As this was my first attempt at using the software after purchasing it I was tad disappointed. I presumed it was because the Chaser immediately followed another program that  I had scheduled, but even fiddling with the start and finish dates didn't seem to fix it.

Any further news on the new update or beta availability?

Cheers

Rod
