Beyonwiz / Missing recordings - timer log

Hi all, I have a T4 connected to ICE which works great when it is working. However, lately there are recordings that just go missing randomly. The missing timers are not in the list of completed recordings in the T4 and they are't sitting there waiting past the record date.

For example, a few weeks ago, the movie John Wick was on, I set it to record a one time only. The date and time passed, the movie did not record and it wasn't in the list of waiting or completed timers. The same thing happened again on Friday night with the Graham Norton Show which was a single recording.

I have verified that these timers are synced in the ICE TV app prior to the date, is there a viewable log to see what happened, why the ICE server has "chosen" to remove it or whether the T4 has done it etc? I recently deleted the ICE guide from the T4, reset it all from scratch but continue to have missed recordings.

Last two episodes that aired, the first recorded but not the second. I think I will need to check them on the night to see why one keeps failing.

9Life is no showing as SC9Life on our account and set to LCN54 so all looking good!! Thanks.

Of course, sorry, I am using a Beyonwiz T4. It doesn't normally have issues with consecutive recordings to my knowledge, although I have a vague recollection that Agents of Shield did the same thing in the past but I never chased it up as it only happened once.

Hi, there have been two episodes of Agent Carter each week but this is now the second time that the first episode hasnt recorded. Has it been inadvertently flagged as a repeat? We are in Toowoomba Qld region.

OK, have rescanned the channels, disabled, re-enabled and re-fetched the ice guide etc from the T4 and still can't map 9life successfully. There is no LCN 54 in the list for 9life, and no other version of the life channel that can be assigned. Channel 54 has been working for some time, as PRL says above with the log and "Coming Soon". It has been broadcasting content since yesterday but we can't set up recordings via Ice TV app or website at the moment.

Just got home after a weekend away and channel 54 is broadcasting as 9life. In the Ice account settings, 9life cant be assigned to lcn 54 as it isnt in the list, does this need to be changed at Ice's end to work for recording?

Hi, apparently 9Life is meant to be on channel 54 in Qld regional as of this morning at 6am. Is that confirmed? I can't set it up on our account as that channel doesn't show up in the list. Recordings are still failing set to "All", is there anything I need to do to sort this on our T4? Thanks

Yep, just 7Flix. It is working now, I have set it to use LCN 66 as that is our regional one. Daniel updated the guide for our region and its all good now, just trying to update the timers now but should be OK.

I have tried doing all the steps in the previous post but I still have this issue. 7Flix info is in the guide but not in the EPG on the T4 and all recording attempts on this channel fail. I have tried so far:

Disabling ICETV plugin
ENabling ICETV plugin
Resyncing EPG data
Setting account to send to PVR as ALL as well as 66 (which is the channel it is on here in Toowoomba).
Rebooted T4

In the EPG, 7Flix is always empty. Is there anything else I need to do?

Hi Daniel, I am having the same issue in Toowoomba, I have the 7flix channel set to 66 which is working on our T4 but there is nothing in the guide and recordings are failing. I have gone through the process mentioned above but still no go.

Thanks everyone for your input. In the end we ordered a barebones T4 and a Seagate 2TB Pipeline HDD. Looking forward to the upgrade :)!
