Quote from: prl on October 15, 2022, 11:08:24 AMFor the last two weeks, the IceTV guide has had the EPG entries for these two SBS/SBS HD shows reversed, listing Good With Wood at 19:35 on Fridays and Secrets of the Lost Liners at 20:30 when they were actually shown in the opposite order.

That explains why I got only the tail end of "Secrets of the Lost Liners".

IceTV EPG Content / Perth - Cycling: Tour De France

The second of the split program showings in Perth is not a repeat - so please stop marking it as such.

Quote from: jillmess on June 17, 2022, 08:33:31 AMWide Bay - 7twoHD is LCN73 here but there is currently no option to select that in the guide settings.

Okay, I was just guessing as to where you were.  According to the article -
[in early March] "Launching last week, 7TwoHD is currently being broadcast in the Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba markets on channel 63, and in other Seven Queensland regional markets on channel 73."
So you're in other than Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba broadcast markets - one that has it on LCN73 (as you say).

Additionally, it appears it's going to move very soon -
"A spokesperson for Seven Queensland has advised TV Blackbox that 7TwoHD will continue to be broadcast in its current position for the next three months. The HD channel will then be moved to Ch72 (ch62) with the SD service to be "discontinued shortly after"."
So it'll go back to LCN72.

There's a post on that article dated today -
"Rosemary 17 June 2022 At 6:25 pm
Somehow I can no longer receive channel 62 7TWO or 7MATE Toowoomba.. My TV and RECORDER WILL NOT transmit even after re-scanning several times. It informs us that 7TWO is now on Channel 63 in HD."

So it looks like the move is on now.

Doesn't help you much now though.

That happened 3 months ago.
https://tvblackbox.com.au/page/2022/03/09/channel-7-improves-free-to-air-picture-as-7two-moves-to-high-definition/

Are you in the Toowoomba broadcast market - do you get 7twoHD on LCN 63 (replacing the SD-version of 7mate)?

Quote from: MD on May 23, 2022, 12:46:44 PMMaybe but periodic reboots are necessary so it would have been a useful reason for one.

No maybe about it.  Also I keep my box in deep standby when not in use.

Thanks.
It's faster to (i) disable IceTV, (ii) enable IceTV, (iii) Fetch EPG and update timers now.
Guide data now being received.

I found your error - you have the wrong Transport Stream ID; you're using "848".

Please check IceTV's service reference definition for SBS WorldWatch for Perth, as I'm not receiving guide data for it on my Beyonwiz T4.
ONID 3202, TSID 320, SID 328
I am getting SBS WorldWatch guide data on my DP-S1 (but I believe that uses a completely different interface/mechanism).

It is not in SBS' FTA broadcast EPG, which is -
15:30 Cycling: Tour Of Hungary 2022 Highlights
Highlights of the 2022 Tour of Hungary cycling event featuring 23 of the World's biggest and strongest cycling teams. International cycling 2022.

16:30 Cycling: Giro D'italia Highlights 2022
All the best moments and highlights from the Giro D'italia 2022 tour stages. International Cycling 2022.

This is not the first time you've been fed rubbish from SBS.

IceTV guide has -
3:30pm Cycling: Tour Of Hungary - Highlights
4:20pm Cycling: Giro D'Italia - Highlights
4:30pm Cycling: Giro D'Italia - Highlights

There is no such 4:20pm program according to SBS online guide -
3:30pm Tour Of Hungary 2022 Highlights
4:30pm Giro D'italia Highlights 2022

Fair enough, but your guide staff need to be aware of what impact their "fixes" in the "morning checks" will do to existing timers on end-user's PVRs.
That is, after all, the raison d'etre of IceTV - With IceTV's "Intelligent Content Engine" Never Miss Enjoying a Good Show Again.

A scant one-line reply 4 weeks after I posted the issue, with no further details/information, gave me no confidence.
How is auditing timers being deleted from my PVR by IceTV's scheduling engine going to identify the issue?  It's a guide issue after all.  First run episodes were incorrectly marked as repeats during a "morning check".

The "Wheeler Dealers" program doesn't come into it.  I made no reference to it.

The facts are -
I had 3 x timers scheduled by IceTV for 3 different guide events.
They were present on the PVR for many days.

I have enabled logging on your account if something like this comes up again we will have much more information.

Laugh!  You need to audit "morning checks".
"Oh look, the same program name is being shown 3 times across 2 different services - 2 of them are bound to be repeats, I'll mark the latter 2 as repeats".

IceTV EPG Content / Re: Tough Prisons
March 10, 2022, 08:30:33 PM
From the SBS guide -
SBS Viceland, Thu 17/3 9:20PM - 10:15PM
The World's Toughest Prisons
Colony 100 in Eastern Ukraine - the prison for hardened criminals.
The inmates here are either repeat offenders, or they'll never leave their cells again.

It's exactly the same in the FTA guide.

No "Inside".

I had 3 x recording timers set; for 9am, 10am, 12pm.

At 10:21, my Beyonwiz fetches the guide and timers from IceTV.
It receives an instruction to delete the 10am timer (ice_timer_id: 16786887589105021639)
The current recording timer is then stopped by my Beyonwiz.

I didn't get to record the start of the race!

Did someone at IceTV alter the 10am entry to give it the exact same subtitle and description as the 12pm entry, thus making it a "repeat"?

edit -
I'm sure the 12pm timer (ice_timer_id: 16786887589105021640) was deleted by IceTV also.
