Beyonwiz / T2 - failed HDD?
December 27, 2016, 11:58:12 AM

Seasons Greetings to all.

I suspect my T2 has a failed HDD.

When turned on, it will display the Beyonwiz blue icon, and the display parts of the icon in a series of horizontal-ish coloured bands. The device makes an occasional tapping noise, which my son in law (an IT network professional) tells me is a failed HDD.

The T2 is almost 12 months old, and was bought through direct through IceTV late December 2015 when on special.

Any thoughts please on the problem and warranty claim through IceTV or Beyonwiz.

Thanks

IceTV EPG Content / Re: ABC switching to HD transmission
December 06, 2016, 04:55:36 PM
I successfully got ABC HD in my BW T2 EPG today (Mid North Coast NSW), but only after several attempts. Look through your EPG list in case ABC HD has been 'grouped' with other HD channels elsewhere in the EPG.

I finally found ABC HD at the end of my EPG list, NOT with the other ABC channels.

See my other topic today.

Bruce.

I now have ABC HD showing in my T2 EPG. But ..... it is NOT 'grouped' with all the other ABC channels. Any thoughts why?

It is at the very end of the EPG along with 9 HD Mid North Coast and Ten HD Taree. (I am in Gloucester NSW).

Thanks

Bruce

PS:  SBS HD is grouped with the other SBS-related channels.

Yip-bloody-yee.

PRL and others.

All working fine now. Thank heavens for  this Forum, its members and IceTV Customer 'how to' support documents.

When I read the document, it all came flooding back. ;)

Again, thanks.

Bruce

PS:Any reason/s suggestion/s why the plugin had fallen off?

No, I did a USB upgrade a few weeks ago. (Successfully)

How do I re-install the IceTV Plugin please?

Beyonwiz / BW T2 - lost all 'reference' to IceTV.
December 04, 2016, 03:28:12 PM
Hello

My BW T2 has lost all 'reference' to IceTV.

In the BW 'main menu' (via MENU button on my BW T2), I no longer have IceTV showing. When I use the PLUGIN button on the R/C, all that displays on the TV is:

Auto Timer / Gmail reader / open webif / opera web browser / picture player / software management / youtube TV settings.

There are no IveTV icons/wording on the BW EPG screen. (I think it shows TERRESTIAL.)

Ive tried reboot, factory reset, and anything else that I thought might work.

I even created a new DEVICE PROFILE in my IceTV account, and did a 'Resend all recordings for this device.'

Any suggestions please. The WAF is lower than Trump's ratings!

Thanks

Beyonwiz / Re: Beyonwix T2 'Auto timer' problem.

Peter, thanks for your reply.

I will post my question in the BW forum; thanks. I had thought/suspected that there was no IceTV 'link', but thought that I would ask. Thanks for clarification/confirmation.

As far as I know, I have never touched the BW Auto-Timer setting. I am a KISS subscriber!

Now, off to BW forum.

Again, thanks.

Beyonwiz / Beyonwix T2 'Auto timer' problem.
November 20, 2016, 11:36:41 AM
No matter how many times I remove BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL, LAW ABIDING CITIZEN and THE WORLD FROM ABOVE from my T2 Auto Timer ((Menu/Channels/Auto Timer), those 3 shows keep on re-appearing in Auto timer. A bit like chewing gum on my shoe!!)

I can see nothing in my IceTV settings, such as favourites/My Week/My Series, etc.

Can anyone offer any advice please?

Thanks

General Discussions / Re: Favourites
November 01, 2016, 05:21:06 PM
Dave, thanks. I just found it.

Also just discovered that the yellow star means NEW SHOW.

Found both, and others, explained on my Win PC at the very foot of TV GUIDE/MY WEEK/ MY FAVOURITES.

Many thanks.

General Discussions / Favourites

Can someone explain 'favourites' too me. I tried the SEARCH facility, but found nothing.

My Windows phone seems to be flagging some shows as FAVOURITE, but I can't find where/why this is happening. Is there a flag/tick box on my WINDOWS PC version of IceTV where I can 'de-favourite' shows?

(My wife also uses her Samsung phone to book shows to record.)

Thanks.

I'm a tad confused.

Under the MY APPS / Smart Recording Apps tokens: I have:

4 X Beyonwiz TX Series 'Application Names', each with a different 'LABEL';
1X IceTV for Remote Android; {My Wife's Samsung phone}
2X IceTV Remote for Windows Phone. {my Nokia phone}.

On my phone, today, when trying to schedule today's  NBN Taree 6 pm news, I got the message
'Recording Not Set/Encountered the following error: 'Recording Data was not valid.'

QUESTIONS:

Do i need the 4 x Application Names/Labels?
Do I need the 2 x Windows Phone Application Names/Labels?

If not, which one/s can I safely DELETE? Will I loose any schedule settings if I remove the wrong Name/Label?

Thanks

Bruce
