IceTV EPG Content / Re: IceTV Guide and 7 Mate HD

Quote from: Daniel Hall at IceTV on December 14, 2022, 10:18:32 AMHi Gib,

I just checked and it looks like they were missing for 74 in Vic Regional, this has been fixed up now, a reload of the guide should see it now be populated correctly.

Hi Daniel.

Thank you. Everything looks good now.

Quote from: Daniel Hall at IceTV on December 12, 2022, 04:56:40 PMHi dalzielmiller,

In Gippsland you would be looking for channel 64 being a regional area (the channel name in the IceTV website is also 7mate HD on Prime), 74 would be the channel number in Melbourne.

Hi Daniel. I posted the other day about 7 Mate HD regional program info not showing up in the guide. Guide info was there for channel 63 but when switching to the channel all that was showing was their stable message about watching on channel 64.

I had also mentioned that Guide info for 74 was missing also but 7Mate Melbourne had program info also.

At that time I could not see 7Mate HD on Prime to select Channel 64 in the Guide Setting on the IceTV website.

I noticed today that now there was no guide listings for 7Mate SD or HD Regional or Melbourne. (I get all 4 of them).

I tried selecting 64 for 7Mate HD on Prime. Then reloaded the EPG info, and restarted the GUI. I now have 7Mate HD on Prime guide info, but there is still no guide info for 7Mate HD Melbourne. Can anything be done to fix this? All the other regional/Melbourne guide listings show up as they should.

Look forward to fixing this.

Cheers

Beyonwiz / 7 Mate Melbourne/Gippsland

Hiya:

Just wondering after the change for 7Mate from channel 63 to 64 in Gippsland I can see no settings in Guide Settings on the IceTV site for setting the specific channels in Gippsland. However after the recent e-mail about the changes I changed 7mate HD to channel 74 as specified. This did some how cause EPG data to populate for 7mate HD Gippsland on 64. I can find no setting for the old channel (63) to make IceTV quit populating it.

Is this a change that will automatically happen in the future?

Cheers

Gib

P.S. looking forward to being able to check out the IceTV PVR software.

IceTV EPG Content / IceTV Guide and 7 Mate HD

Hi All:

just wondering if I have my settings incorrect. I've got a Beyonwiz V2 and live in Newborough Vic (Gippsland Region). I don't receive any programming info for 7 Mate HD Melbourne on channel 74 in the listings. I notice in Guide Settings for my setup there is no channel 74 available for any of the channel listings. Is this a mis-configuration on my part, or because I've selected Gippsland Region they leave this channel off.

Any help on this?

Cheers

I'm having the same intermittent errors on a Beyonwiz T4. Here is a graphic of the iceTV log.

Yeah probably, but given the subscription isn't due to expire until May 2018 I shouldn't be getting an expiration notice until April 2018!

Also, why would all my order history for the last 8 to 10 years be suddenly missing when they were there a few months back?

This is a new IceTV. The old one went bust because of Skippa's and their manufacturer. Check the other threads. Specifically this link.

Wonder how many other people are just figuring this out. Feel for them.

This is like getting a life time subscription as I suspect that is the average life of a PVR like skippa.

Hear Hear, Its all a point of perspective really.  It is interesting to note that in another post the same person is now offering their Skippa for sale.

I hope someone gets a good deal. As long as they understand what they are buying.  The Skippa is a great unit, but its value is totally dependant on IceTV surviving.

Yep, that was me. Trying to do a favour for someone who wanted a second Skippa and copped all sorts of moral indignation and faux outrage for my troubles. I understand that many people didn't get a Skippa and have no chance of a refund. I am sincerely sympathetic and understand the anger stage of the grieving process, but my offer wasn't directed at them.

Unfortunately, there were no takers, so it's off to the tip this weekend. Would have been a bargain too.

If your literally throwing it away, I'll give you $75.00 including shipping for it.

HI Dave.

I've got an issue also, every time I try to continue to payment page for the new service I get the following error message "Error in data returned from payment gateway, please contact support". I posted this to the IceTV revived thread also, but this seems like the more appropriate place.

Cheers

I was also getting this until I looked closely at the completed info that was showing.  Instead of a phone number my username had been auto-filled.  Once I corrected this I was able to proceed to the payment page - you may want to check this on yours.  As my account had 'expired' I had to process a one month 'top-up' before I was able to set up the auto renew.

Yep. Same here. That fixed the problem.

Anyone else having issues trying to renew? I keep getting a message "Error in data returned from payment gateway, please contact support". I've left a message for support, but no response yet. And their phone hours are Noon till 8pm so can't call yet.

gib

If paying with a credit card, you will see that message if you leave spaces between the numbers. Enter card number without spaces.

I guess that error message will appear if you incorrectly enter any card details.

Not even getting to that point. I'm getting the error on the page before you would enter your card details. Weird. Maybe something to do with my account.

My Paypal refund has hit my account, so I'm ready to sell my Skippa...
..If anyone wants to buy it off me, send me a PM with your best price. The highest price gets it. Don't forget that you will need to add postage on top of what you offer.

Sorry, I have a moral objection to what your suggesting.  Double dipping by getting a refund from Paypal and then flogging it off.

Yep, I have no morals at all. I'm using my refund to buy a replacement device. So, what to do with Skippa? I can't give it to charity. It has no value. There are people on here who are happy with their Skippa and have said they want another.

I'm curious, What would you do in my position?

OK. Since - in your own words - it has no value - I'll offer you zero dollars ( Plus postage, of course) !!

Mac

I'll make it cost of postage plus $.05 :)
