IceTV EPG Content / Channel Ten Rebrand
November 01, 2018, 08:41:10 AM
Hello!

I noticed that Channel Ten has updated their branding, and renamed a good number of their channels. Should we expect to see the updated logos and channel names in the guide soon? :)

Cheers!

I noticed in the guide there's a listing for "You Can't Ask That - S01E04" for the Invictus Games, but the ABC has classified this as a separate series, titled "You Can't Ask That: Invictus Games", on iView. So I think this should be listed as a different series within IceTV as well.  :)

I've noticed that "The Block" has been named "The Block 2018", even though the season is (correctly) shown as S14. Naming it as "The Block 2018" makes it show up as a different show in my library, rather than making it show up as season 14 in "The Block" for me. Is there a reason it's being called "The Block 2018 - S14" rather than just "The Block - S14"?

MasterChef Australia on Thursday at 7:30pm (on Ten & Ten HD in Melbourne) is showing as being S10E39, when it's actually S10E54. This is preventing my DVR from recording it (as it think I already have that episode, due to recording S10E39 a few weeks ago). Could this be fixed up before Thursday, please?  :)

IceTV EPG Content / Travel Man: Incorrect Title
February 27, 2018, 10:56:25 PM
First off, I'm in Melbourne, using the XMLTV guide with Plex.  :)

I noticed that "Travel Man" on SBS HD is using the incorrect title. In the guide, it's displayed as "Travel Man: 48 Hour In...", whereas it should be "Travel Man: 48 Hours In..." (notice the "s" at the end of "hours").

Could this be rectified, please?

Metro Melbourne here.

Travel Man on SBS Viceland HD (airing on Mondays with new episodes at 8pm), and repeats on SBS HD (Saturday 8:30pm) are using the wrong season and episode information.

According to both TVDB, IMDb (and some Gracenote data I have access to), each season consists of four episodes, but for some reason, the S3 episodes are marked in the IceTV guide as S2 E5 - E8, and the S4 episodes are marked as S3.

Could the season and episode numbers please be amended to use the numbers shown on TVDB and IMDb? :)

Thanks!

Hello again!

When I've been recording episodes of Grand Designs, I've noticed that the season and episode information doesn't match up with what IMDb or TheTVDB have listed for the show. Which means when I correct the numbers, I miss out on episodes, because the season and episode numbers are done differently. Any chance you guys can have a look at this, and see if the data can be amended to follow IMDB / TVDB? I don't believe there are any episodes airing at the moment, but it's something I've come across in the past, and wanted to bring up.

Typically, these are airing on ABC either on Weekdays at 6:00pm, or on Sundays at 7:30pm.

Thanks,
David

Hey guys!

Just a quick note that Australian Ninja Warrior doesn't seem to have any season or episode numbering (and seems to be missing premiere / repeat flags for some episodes) in the XMLTV data that you guys provide.

I'm in Melbourne, the show is on Channel 9, and appears to air on Sundays at 7:30, and weekdays at 5:50ish.

If this could be updated it would be very much appreciated :)

Cheers,
David

Hi there,

I've been using the IceTV guide for a while with Plex (some of you might recognise my username from their forums) for metro Melbourne, and I noticed that MasterChef Australia (on Ten/Ten HD) is currently missing the season and episode numbers for all episodes, as well as premiere flags/previously shown flags in the XML feed. This is causing Plex to record the reruns earlier in the day, rather than the new episodes in the evening. While I can limit the recordings to a particular time slot, it would be good to be able to pull in the right metadata to make recording easier.

Cheers,
David
