SInce this station has plenty of shows (not info shows) when will ICE add some data to the guide so we can make it easier to record them?
I thought the idea of Ice was that we would never miss a show.
Last week in QLD GC the guide was showing up on the TVs built in guide but back here in MEL with Ice the guide is blank.

Looking at Yahoo TV guide for this Sunday in Melbourne, there are lots of differences between it and ICE guide.
eg: Ice has 'Incredible Hulk' on both 9SD and 9HD, whereas Yahoo has that of 9SD and 'The Bodygaurd' on 9HD.

I know there are changes to GEM etc, but why does Yahoo have diferent programs showing for SD and HD but ICE does not?

I have had a keyword set up to record '24 kiefer' for well over 1 year.
It recorded last years shows and also both episodes this week but has failed to pick up next Tuesdays episodes.
'lost Matthew Fox' has picked up next weeks 3 episodes, this has also been set up for over 1 year.

To get 24 to be picked up next week, I had to set up the following 'title:24 episode:day '

An earlier popst of mine had similar problems with Bones and Castle which were fixed by ICE support.

Just wondering if there have been any system changes at ICE which may have caused this?

Hi,

I have had these 2 shows set up to record for many many months with no problems on my BW S1.
But I notice that the episodes scheduled for this Sunday are not being picked up to be recorded.
That is, the "My Upcomming Shows" do not have them set up and the Guide does not show them as set for recording either.
The Mentalist on Monday is set and The Good Wife on Sunday is also set up correctly.

The episode of Bones for this Thursday WAS picked up and is scheduled to be recorded (Plus a manual recording of the repeat episode as well).

Looks like a double episode starts next Tuesday instead of Bones.

Was watching Shark this week when they ran an ad for 24 starting next Tuesday with a double episode.

Checked the Yahoo 7 guide for Melbourne and it also shows 24.

I am just checking next weeks programs and saw that you have this program on 7SD at 20:30 with running time of 190 mins.
It is also in the guide at 22:30 on 7HD with a running time of 70 minutes.

Something does not seem correct  ;D

I just checked my up coming shows for this week and saw that CSI: Miami is set to record next Sunday Night.
The problems are
1. CSI Miami is NOT set up for device VISTA it is set up for device BW (which works and is also set to record next Sunday)
2. The red dot indicates a single recording - I have NOT set any recordings for this show via VISTA EPG
3. Over the weekend, 3 shows on CH 10 were recorded on VISTA, none of which were set up either by Ice interactive or via VISTA EPG (as I hardly ever watch CH10)
4. The Yellow triangles is an on-going problem with Ice Interactive NOT settings shows for GO! on VISTA machine

My BW seems to work correctly.
Vista has the latest Ice loaded.

Re Yellow triangles - there is a problem raised with ICE about that but after a few weeks, nothing has been resolved

General comment.

I am sure that at the end of the last episode, SBS said that next week will be a double episode for the series final.
Looking at the guide (on SBS site) , they seem to have 2 episodes but they are seperated by World News and Market Update.
How strange not to have these 2 final episodes back to back.

I just noticed these appearing in the IceTV Interactive logs (don;t check them very often).

I have rescanned the channels and reset the Guide channels etc but it still occurs.
The Guide shows the 7HD programs and I can watch them.

I believe that this is a night with a double episode of CSI  instead of CSI: New York at 21:30

Just found that I have a show set to record "Radiohead meeting people is easy".
Apparently it is part of a keyword recording.
Looking at my keywords that I set up, I believe it is picking up on 'Cary Grant' which I have set for titles, descriptions, actors director.
Looking at the shows (Radiohead) guide, it seems to have found 'Grant Lee' - director and the word 'scary' which would mean that it is using part of a word as a match.

Is this how keywords work?
Matching part words and not whole words?

This could explain some other seemingly random shows being set to record over the past few weeks.

Amazing how they cannot seem to get their own guide correct.
In Melbourne on TV, they have been advertising a movie on Friday night at 21:35 'Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya sisterhood'
I checked the Yahoo 7 guide for Melbourne and it has the movie listed plus a movie at 19:30.
I checked the channelnine.ninemsm TV guide for postcode 3040 and it has the footbal from 19:30 to 23:30
How can Ice be blamed for not having corrects details when the station itself seems to fail on their own guide.

I have had 'Bones Emily Deschanel' set up in my Keyword record for a long time. in the past it has been working.
I checked my upcoming shows and noticed that it is not showing up for tomorrow (Melbourne).
All my other shows still appear to be OK.

Is there a way using keyword recording to NOT record a Repeat?
Using -repeat does not seem to work - especially if the title etc has that word in it.

I use keywords for a lot of shows now but am annoyed that repeats get recorded as well.

Hope this feature gets added  ;D

This show is not marked as a repeat, it was shown last Thursday.

I am having problems getting this to work.
If I set a keyword of Lost, all shows with Lost are set to record.
So, I changed it to   Lost Fox   so it grabs the actors name as well.
But it will not set it to record, I tried various actors names from the guide but still it does not get set to record.
With 24, I set it to 24 Kiefer   and that works.

Any one else tried a keyword record for Lost?

ICE shows a start time of 20:30 for the double episode in Melbourne.  :-\
The show starts at 21:00 (Yahoo7 web site)  ;D
I also read about this change a few days ago on other web sites.
