General Discussions / Christmas Special
December 29, 2011, 09:35:13 AM
Is there a Christmas Special this year?

My IceTV is due to expire soon and I don't want to let it expire, but I really don't need it at the moment either as I'm trialing W7 with OTA EPG but my Beyonwiz is still alive and using IceTV but not doing much.

Not even close guys! :)

Undercurrents WTV Sat, 15 Jan 2011, 30 minutes, G, Religion, Series Religious program based on the deeds of Father Werenfried van Straaten.

It should be this:

I'm curious if Win7MCE and IceTV is a good and viable option compared to other PVR's like the Beyonwiz or Tivo?

If I built one it would definitely have 4 tuners - something that just isn't offered elsewhere. I've read about issues with hard and soft padding resulting in similar issues to what I see on my Beyonwiz with consecutive recordings. ( this issue annoys me, it's easily fixed in software especially with Beyonwiz's multipart storage!)

Will MCE record multiple channels off the same tuner if that's required?

Are  there any other issues?

IceTV EPG Content / WTV Perth

Hey IceTV, have you started talking to WTV in Perth about getting hold of their TV guide so we can have support when they launch? :) They're community, so maybe they'll be nice and give it to you. :)

Hint hint :)

Topfield / Topfield 5000 masterpiece w/icebox2 setup
October 30, 2009, 05:40:36 PM
Currently i'm running a TF5000MP with an IceBox2 and using TEDS Suite to get IceTV data. I also have an Beyonwiz that i use Ice Interactive with.

My original reasons for using TEDS was that it has better clash detection and recording merging, HOWEVER, i'm really finding having to separate systems annoying, and TEDS stops working when me and my laptop travel.

Is it worth moving to Interactive for the Topfield? Does it work? How does it handle clashes and back to back timers?

Is IceTV aware that Perth Daylight Savings ends a week earlier than NSW/Vic on March 30th?

Is there anything that we'll need to do?

IceTV EPG Content / Daylight Savings in WA
November 21, 2006, 09:31:52 PM
Well, finally WA will be getting Daylight savings on the 3rd of December - From what I read in here the guide was a bit of a mess during the DST change on the east coast.

Is IceTV aware of the WA change, and what has been done to ensure things will work smoothly over the change?

Thanks!
