Info wanted re timer behaviour back to back recording same channel

First of all does icetv handle this or the beyonwiz T2. Are there default setting behaviours or are there preference settings somewhere? A bit off topic but is the T2 capable of recording more than 1 program at a time on different associated network channels on the one tuner like abc 1 & abc 2 etc.

Thankyou

The T2 will treat two sequential timers on the same channel as separate recordings and will record them both with the normal padding. Therefore during the overlap it will be doing two recording at the same time from the same channel.

The T2 can record any number of shows on the same network and will only use one tuner. The limit is really based on performance rather than an actual amount but officially it is 8 but people have reported more than that.

Thanks for the answer. Can the padding be adjusted on a per recording basis. I suspect not.

Not if you use icetv for a series recording. You can edit it after but that can cause problems if the show changes.
