The latest version of our iPhone App was released to the Apple App Store on Thursday Dec 16, unfortunately there are several issues with this version that are causing difficulties for some users.
We have fixed the issues and submitted a new release to the Apple App Store for review late on Friday Dec 17. Unfortunately we cannot predict when this build will be released, we hope it will be sometime in the next week.
If you are experiencing issues with the app that leave you stuck then you will need to kill the app and start it again.
The procedure for doing this is as follows
iPhone 3G or any iPhone running IOS3As these devices do not have multi-tasking avaiable simply hitting the home button and starting the app should be sufficient to clear the error.
iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4 running IOS4As these devices do have multi-tasking available you will need to do the following
- Hit the home button to exit the application
- Double-tap the home button to expose the multi-tasking shelf
- Press and hold on any of the app icons on the multi-tasking shelf until the icons start to "jiggle" and display a close button
- Press the close button on the IceTV App
- Press the home button to close the mutli-tasking shelf
- Start the App
