Some questions about guide content for the ACT
« on: October 26, 2008, 08:48:21 AM »
I've just signed up for a trial for my Vista MC HTPC and am ready to subscribe but have a few questions about the guide content for the ACT:

- I know about the ongoing issues with the court case, but is it possible to request for some more WIN HD programs to be listed (e.g. Cold Case and The Strip)
- SC Ten HD isn't even as an option to add as a listing to a channel, is there actually a guide for it? I know they don't have that much HD content but I have a few programs I like to record (e.g. NCIS)

I asked about Win HD for the ACT, and IceTV responded here.

I'm seeing a similar thing to you in the Beyonwiz guide for the ACT at the moment (Sun 26 Oct 09:00). For example, Rove is showing up in the Web guide at 20:30 on SC Ten HD, but the IceTV widget is saying NCIS 'Nine Lives' on SC Ten HD at 20:30, and the Beyonwiz guide for SC Ten HD is showing nothing at 20:30, and Rove on SD at 20:30.

Edit: The Canberra Times weekly guide and the guide in todays paper show Rove on SC Ten at 20:30, but no HD flag.

With regards to WIN HD, two previous threads on the forum explain the issue in more detail.;topicseen

If you have seen a particular program on WIN HD then we can amend the guide to incorporate this information so long as it was gained from watching live TV eg. you actually saw Cold Case or The Strip playing on the HD channel. Information from third party guides cannot and will not be used to amend Ice TV's schedule for Channel Nine or affiliate stations.
