SD to HD
« on: April 21, 2009, 08:34:14 AM »
Hi,
Sorry if this has been explained before.  I have searched around a bit and couldnt find anything specific.  I am wondering if someone can tell me exactly what the 'copy SD to HD' option does for each channel? (I understand it ignores some HD channels?)  My guide (in Vista MCE) is missing EPG data for ABCHD and SBSHD (my region is Gold Coast).  I assume if I enable copy SD to HD I will get the data on these channels but what happens if there IS a different showing on an HD channel, will this data get overwritten by the SD content?
Thanks,
Alex.

Hi Alex,

If the HD channel does have different content than the SD channel, you'll definitely still see the HD content on the HD channel.  It won't be overwritten by the SD data.

Thanks,
Russell
