Law & Order: UK out of order?
« on: March 29, 2012, 04:07:05 PM »
Not sure if it is the episodes or just the titles, but it seems to be all confused.  AFIK the last ep showed last week was 306: Masquerade.  According to the title, the one this week was ID (which is supposed to be 403) and next week is supposed to be Denial, which is meant to be 402.  So, not only are those two back to front, but  307 and 401 are missing.  Unless they were shown on another days that I missed? ???
Cheers,

Ten has shown Law & Order UK eps in this order recently (up to next Tuesday):

Confession
Survivor
Masquerade
ID
Denial

They appear to have skipped an episode (Anonymous) but apart from that they are showing them in the original airdate order, as per this link.

http://thetvdb.com/index.php?tab=seasonall&id=85228&lid=7&order=absolute

Some sources out there will list the production order for series/ep numbers. The airdate or absolute order isn't necessarily the same as the production order and that's where it gets quite confusing.

Yeah, certainly does!

I usually look on http://epguides.com/LawandOrderUK/

Which lists them as:
Season 4

21     4-01                07/Mar/11   Help
22     4-02                14/Mar/11   Denial
23     4-03                21/Mar/11   ID
24     4-04                28/Mar/11   Duty of Care
25     4-05                04/Apr/11   Shaken
26     4-06                11/Apr/11   Skeletons

The ep I recorded on the 27th was ID and as I missed the ending  ::) (ignoring my padding settings) I had to resort to Channel Torrent.  At first I got 401 and discovered that I was actually downloading "Help".  So, on further looking I found that the last program I had before that one was Masquerade the week before. So, I am still confused.   :-\

I probably confused you as well (I listed absolute and airdate round the wrong way) but basically Ten is showing them in what's called the absolute order.  Airdates are what most people use to determine series & ep numbers, however, so based on that ...

6/3 = Confession (Series 3, ep 4)
13/3 = Survivor  (Series 3, ep 5)
20/3 = Masquerade (Series 3, ep 6)
27/3 = ID (Series 4, ep 3)
3/4 = Denial (Series 4, ep 2)

Hope that helps
