Hey guys is there away we can have a 8 day EPG that works with the iphone app. Lots of times i seen a new show thats going to be on at the sametime in 7 days time. I cant add it at that time as the EPG is only 7 days and then i forget about the show and i happen to miss it.

Can't you scroll up the TV Guide to the program that was just on and set a series recording?
cheers

Not if it is a new show being advertised.  (unless of course, if it is listed among the new shows on IceTV)

Hi

An 8 day EPG is something we hope to be able to offer in the near future.

Right now, 8 days of EPG data would only be possible for ABC, SBS and the community channels, not for the commercial networks.

In the meantime, our New Shows feature is your best bet. If you've seen an ad for something then it's probably on the list because whenever we read or hear about an upcoming show we add it to New Shows. If we've missed something then you can post on the forum and we will add it for you.

There are currently about 50 new and returning series listed, some are starting next week, some not for a couple of months.

You can set any of these shows to record right now via the New Shows list. When they appear in the schedule they will record for you.

Thanks

Speaking of New Shows, it frequently lists "Coming soon" shows without an indicator of which network they will be on. Surely, if IceTV knows a show is "coming soon", then it would normally know which network will be carrying the show?

Yes, it's always been like this. The function needs a day/time to link to in the schedule. Until then it is listed as Coming Soon. This is so that when people are logged in to Interactive the list displays the correct network for their particular region - a show on Nine, for example, could actually be NBN, WIN or Imparja.
