i have my humax connected to the internet using the dongle supplied but would like to transfer some recordings to a usb so i will have to remove the dongle,plug the usb in,transfer the recordings and then replace the wireless dongle which is all a hassle
my question is will the humax support one of the multi usb port gizmos,eg one plug one end for the humax and 4 ports the other end

The Humax has 2 USB ports. One on the back, and another on the front behind a little flap (on the right-hand side, almost underneath the front).

ps many thanks for your time and patience yesterday helping me get my pvr recording schedule set up however i still have one issue...when i click on tv portal it goes straight to a software update box and i click on yes to update but it never does the update and i have tried numerous times ??
