Matching channel names
« on: January 17, 2007, 09:25:15 AM »
Is it possible to have the channel names ice supplies, match the channel names the stations attach to their broadcasts?

For example, when I initially scan for channels in MCE, I get "ABC Canberra" and I then have to go into add listings to channel and add "ABC" guide channel to it.  If the guide channel was already called "ABC Canberra", MCE is smart enough to match them automatically and would remove the need to do this step.

Thanks.

Just to update on this, we are trying to get the channel names confirmed now, but the response is still a bit lacking, we need to get all regions confirmed so that they can be updated.

The thread that is asking for this information can be found at http://www.icetv.com.au/iceforum/index.php?topic=554.0.
