Customer Support
« on: August 31, 2006, 05:46:36 PM »
Just wondering if people have used the customer support (Email to support@icetv.com.au).

If so, did you recieve a response from them and how long did you wait for a response?

Just wondering as I emailed them on the morning of the 28th and still have not had a response.

I don't know about email support but forum responses do seem to have dried up recently....

Yes, but why have EMAIL support on the ICETV web site if it does not get answered?
Your response is not helpful.

If EMAIL and TELEPHONE support are both advertised on the Web site, then they BOTH should get responses.

If you have an urgent problem then telephone!  A phone call will always be treated as a higher priority by a help desk.  Emails are good to supply further information (e.g. long detailed descriptions, screen shots, etc) in addition to the info provided by phone.  Just make sure you can link the email to the original service request (quote incident/service request number in subject line of email).
Cheers, ;)

Your response is not helpful.
Probably not, if your objective was to went frustration in public.

Calling the IceTV help desk will give you the opportunity to express your frustration to the people that may be able to do something about it and perhaps you will also get your support queries answered in the process.

IceTV happen to have one of the best telephone support lines for a company that deals with complex technology. Don't take my word for it, try it yourself.

Not sure what you mean as EMail support does not go to public.
Question was NOT urgent but to NEVER get a response is not good.

Telephone support may be great, but my question was about EMail support only not Telephone support.
