Launch EyeTV from Frontrow
« on: April 15, 2008, 10:08:31 AM »
I found this plugin (written in python) for Frontrow 2 which will launch EyeTV from Frontrow. When installed you have a new item in the main Frontrow menu called EyeTV. When you click on it, you launch EyeTV. When you exit EyeTV, you come back to Frontrow.

Here is the link http://code.google.com/p/pyetv/

P.S. If you are interested in adding your own menu items to Frontrow there is an SDK/Framework available here:

Nice find. Thanks!

We can only hope that Apple opens up the Front Row plugin architecture so we call all make official plugins for it. I know the EyeTV guys really want to do this (as posted on their forum). Fingers crossed.

it even appears to work!

look like it's early days for both these new pluggins, so keep on top of updates.
